Baghajatin Tarun Sangha

The Baghajatin Tarun Sangha Dojo is one of the active training centers of Kyokushin Karate in South Kolkata, operating under the Kyokushin community associated with K3D Fight Club and instructors led by Senpai Kisholoy Majumdar. The dojo conducts regular martial arts training within the premises of Baghajatin Tarun Sangha, a well-known cultural and sports club in South Kolkata established in 1950 and recognized for its various social, cultural, and sporting activities in the region.

The dojo was introduced to expand Kyokushin Karate training in the Baghajatin area and provide opportunities for students and young martial artists to learn traditional full-contact karate.

Training at the dojo follows the traditional Kyokushin system, focusing on:

  • Kihon (Basic Techniques) punches, blocks, kicks, and stances

  • Kata (Forms) structured sequences that develop balance, coordination, and concentration

  • Kumite (Full-Contact Sparring) controlled combat training to build endurance and fighting spirit

With a supportive club environment and regular practice sessions, the Baghajatin Tarun Sangha Dojo serves as a platform for students to improve discipline, physical fitness, and self-defense skills, while preparing them for belt gradings and Kyokushin tournaments.

As part of the growing network of dojos, including Golf Green Dojo and Tollygunge Rifle Club Dojo, the Baghajatin center plays an important role in spreading the philosophy of Kyokushin's strength, perseverance, and the pursuit of the ultimate truth.
